Adolescent gambling in South Australia: SA Government Department of Education and Children's Services
A research project undertaken in 2007 in South Australian secondary schools found that the number of 13- to 17-year-olds gambling on a weekly basis decreased from 15% in 2001 to 6% in 2007. Of the 2,669 young people who took part in the study, 2.4% of respondents were found to be 'problem gamblers' and 6.4% were considered to be 'at risk' of becoming problem gamblers. Details ...
