POLICY | Reach Out is encouraging young people to contribute to the new National Strategy for Young Australians

(2009-10-29) Young people can have direct input to the new National Strategy for Young Australians by adding their ideas and comments to the ROtreat Forums on the Reach Out website: http://info.inspire.org.au/rp//300/process.clsp?t=28934FAE0B8983C19190A0CA7F3D14EB7

This website provides a great opportunity for those who would like to make their voices heard and contribute to the Rudd government's proposed youth strategy but who were unable to take part in the today's Inspire online forums.

As reported yesterday in our news feed, there are other ways to contribute to the National Strategy for Young Australians:

Host Your Own Forum: Youth sector organisations are encouraged to host a forum with young people involved in their organisation. Host Your Own Forum kits, which include discussion topic starters, are available on the Australian Youth Forum (AYF) website: http://www.youth.gov.au/ayf/

youTHINK – Thursday 12 November: The youTHINK event on 12 November will involve a national interactive webcast that young people can log into from their computer network, linking through the AYF website. The event will ask young people to provide feedback on ideas and suggestions for the National Strategy submitted through the National Conversation and involve quick polls on their opinions.

Have a say: National Conversation topic starters can be found on the 'Have a Say' page of the AYF website:
