NYARS reports

About the National Youth Affairs Research Scheme (NYARS)

NYARS is a cooperative arrangement between the Federal Government and the State, Territory governments to facilitate nationally-based research into current social, political and economic factors affecting young people. NYARS research findings assist with the formulation and assessment of policy development and implementation by Australian, State and Territory Ministers and Departments responsible for youth affairs. NYARS operates under the auspices of the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA). MCEETYA chooses the topics for the annual NYARS research program from a short-list developed collaboratively by jurisdictions. NYARS representatives can be contacted in your State or Territory via the youth affairs office for your State or Territory.
