  • Graduate Diploma In Mental Health Science's (Young people's mental health)

The Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Sciences (Young people's mental health) is offered via the University of Melbourne's Department of Psychiatry in conjunction with ORYGEN Youth Health, and is specifically designed to address issues of mental health in young people. The program covers clinically applicable aspects of theory, assessment, diagnoses and treatment of mental illnesses in young people. This course will allow students to access the best available clinical evidence in young people's mental health. The Graduate Diploma is a two-year, part-time program that is deliverd exclusively via the method of distance education. There are also a number of distance education short courses in young people's mental health available (depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis and dual diagnosis).
