Australian Institute of Health and Welfare
The AIHW is Australia's national agency for health and welfare statistics and information and is an authoritative source of information on patterns of health and illness, determinants of health, the supply and use of health services, and health services expenditure. As an independent agency, it works with many government and non-government bodies across the nation to generate reliable, regular and current facts and figures on the health and welfare of Australians. It publishes many reports and discussion papers, drawing on a wide range of data collections, examples being:
- Australia's Health
- Australia's Welfare. See details.
