|Involve brings together hundreds of people in the youth health and development sectors.
Involve 06 will give you the chance to hear from leading youth health and development researchers, policy makers and grass roots practitioners.
Invited key note speakers include:
Michelle Dagnino a young social justice advocate, speaker and author from Canada. Michelle has worked as a child labour coordinator and her first book on hip hop and activism will be published this year.
Ruth Jones Tumu Whakarae, National Maori Manager Strategy and Planning for CCS. Ruth has a wealth of expreience working in the disability sector with young people, children and adults. Ruth also has worked at a community development and strategic level.
Deborah Christie a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Honory Senior Lecturer and head of Paediatric and Adolescent Psychology at Univiersity College London and Middlesex Hospital.
Rangimoana Taylor, Kaumatua of Toi Whakaari, the New Zealand Drama School.
Hon Nanaia Mahuta, Minister of Youth Affairs

Conference participants can register for an additional one day workshop in motivational interviewing that will be presented by Deborah Chrsitie.
Involve06 is Coordinated by the New Zealand Association for Adolescent Health and Development with support from the National Youth Workers Network and the Ministry of Youth Development.
