Use of electronic media and communications: Early childhood to teenage years
This report presents the Australian Communications and Media Authority's research on media use by a select range of youth, drawn from an examination of the data in the longitudinal study, Growing Up in Australia; The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children. The ACMA research presents findings relating to media use by 8- to 17-year-olds and new findings about 3- to 4-year-olds and 7- to 8-year-olds, giving a comprehensive snapshot of their use of electronic media from early childhood through to teenage years, and parents’ views about that media use. Download the report in PDF or WORD format from the ACMA website.
