Government and youth affairs in Australia

Note:

Australia has three tiers of government:

1. Commonwealth (or federal) government;
   
2. state or territory governments; and
   
3. local government
   

In addition, in the non-government sector, youth affairs organisations represent youth at the national, state and territory levels.
