Homeless young people and mobile phones

Research conducted on 95 families and young people experiencing homelessness found that 95% of participants had a mobile phone, a higher rate than that of the general population. Mobile phones were considered essential for survival and safety, for gaining new skills and for moving out of homelessness. Original article
