The forum aims to be a lively, interactive forum with frequent opportunities for questions and comments. Young people and health professionals are involved in planning the event to ensure a relevant and engaging program, with a focus on how programs benefit young people.

The NSW Youth Health Policy 2011-2023: Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds, Vibrant Futures aims to improve access to quality youth-friendly health services and to strengthen the community supports that promote wellbeing for young people.

Young people will receive $20 towards travel costs, and people from rural areas are encouraged. Bursaries are available to young people and NSW Health employees to travel from rural areas.
