Youngcare’s highly successful At Home Care Grants program provides one-off grants ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 to individuals and eligible organisations to assist people aged 18 to 65 to remain at home with their families and prevent them being admitted to aged care facilities. Grants can be used for home modifications, respite care, physiotherapy and equipment such as wheelchairs, communication aids, shower commodes, trolleys and recliner chairs.

This is the first time that the At Home Care Grants have been offered to people living in Tasmania.
