    • Amnesty International SA/NT is holding its second annual regional Youth Conference for Human Rights September 15-16 at the University of Adelaide.? Registration is open to high school students who want to make a difference and become 'Ambassadors of Freedom'.?
      The conference will offer participants the opportunity to learn about human rights issues in Australia and overseas, and develop their own skills to become advocates for human rights.?
      The program includes a variety of workshops, covering hot debates on human rights issues, sassy campaigning tools, breaking the media code ideas and creative campaigning.? It will feature experienced key speakers, including:

      -Anton Enus: SBS Newsreader and Journalist
      -Julian Burnside QC: Human Rights Expert, National Living Treasure
      -Tom Zubrycki: AFI award winning documentary flimmaker
      -Iktimal Hage-Ali: Nationally renowned youth leader?
      -Senator Penny Wong (ALP)
      -Hon Michelle Lensink MLC (Lib)
      -Senator Kerry Nettle (Greens)
