Australasian Amphetamine Conference, Sydney |
The first Australasian Amphetamine Conference will focus on these questions and more. Its focus will be practical and engaging for health professionals, law and order personnel, community workers, researchers as well as workers within the harm reduction and drug treatment fields.
The two-day conference will give those attending both theoretical and practical tools to reduce potential problems caused by amphetamine use. Participants will have the opportunity to work through ideas and how these can be transferred to their own profession. Each session will offer participants a chance to discuss how amphetamine use is affecting their area. The sessions will not only generate new ideas but give better understanding of the difficulties faced by each profession. |
