Managing Change and Innovation |
This course is designed to provide participants with the competencies and skills to manage a changing work environment in a productive and positive way. Participants will gain skills in both planning effective improvements and change, and responding to unplanned change. There will be a focus on both ensuring effective Continuous Improvement and more transformational change in the Not For Profit Workplace.
Workshop Contents:

The causes and effects of change: identify the effects of change on individuals and the team.

What cause resistance to, and acceptance of, change: communicate with team members to assist the process of change.

Manage work redesign and job changes to cope with the impact of change.

Initiating change: continuous improvement; strategies for change.

Skills for change management- managing yourself and others during a period of change: developing a change- focused culture for the team.
Outcomes:
Participants will obtain techniques and tools that will help them to manage staff during what can often be a very stressful but also productive and positive periods of change. The course will also present methods of ensuring the acceptance of change is part of the work culture.
