Staff in the Media Unit are available to help journalists and editors, and to advise University staff on matters relating to media relations and publicity.

To contact University Security in an emergency:

  • telephone extension 46666
  • freecall 1800 246 066 from your mobile or a public phone

If you are on campus, but outside a building, look for the blue metal poles fitted with the emergency intercom system. Pressing the emergency button activates a security camera and calls for a security officer to attend the site immediately.
